Hello Discussion Bucks Community,

We hope this message finds you well. At Discussionbucks.com, we are constantly striving to provide a fair and rewarding experience for all our members. Our platform thrives on the contributions of each one of you, and it's our ongoing commitment to ensure that our system is equitable and sustainable.

Key Update: Introduction of a Transaction Fee

We have observed a growing trend where non-paying subscribers circumvent the need to purchase a subscription by transferring funds to members who already have a paid subscription. To maintain the integrity of our earning and subscription systems, we are introducing a new policy:

Effective immediately, a 20% fee will be applied to all peer-to-peer transactions within the forum.

What This Means for You:

  • When you send D Bucks to another member, 20% of the amount will be deducted as a transaction fee.
  • The receiving member will get 80% of the initial amount sent.
Example:
  • If you send 1 D Bucks to another member, a fee of 0.20 D Bucks will be deducted.
  • The recipient will receive 0.80 D Bucks.
Why This Change:
  • This measure is to ensure fairness and to discourage practices that bypass the need for a subscription.
  • It helps us to continue providing a high-quality platform where your contributions are fairly rewarded.
We understand that changes can be challenging, but we believe this is a necessary step to maintain a balanced and thriving community. Our goal is to foster an environment where every member's contribution is valued and rewarded appropriately.

For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to our support team or reply to this thread. We are here to assist you.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Best Regards
Devin

This is a valid measure, especially for those who do not mean well for the forum, the only disadvantage is that it tends to discourage tipping. What alternative measure or measures will be put in place to ensure those who are fond of tipping do continue and are not discouraged?

I do not think that a person who wants to tip another member or a group of members should continue to incur extra charges when they are already giving their hard-earned Dbucks for free. I also think that partying away with 0.2 cents from a dollar is rather too much looking at how hard it is to earn a dollar worth of Dbucks on average. It can take even a week for others to earn a dollar. So a 0.2 cents is a day's work.
